GSC Amateurs 1
Craig Armour (1)
Rannoch 1

Rannoch provided the opposition to GSC at Woodfarm in this crucial league match. GSC got off to the worst possible start when Cohens pass back was completely missed by goalkeeper Sommerville as he tried to clear. 1-0 Rannoch after only 3 minutes. GSC then took the game to Rannoch knowing defeat was unthinkable in their quest for promotion. After 35 minutes Collinge won the ball in his own half played it wide to Caldwell who worked his way down the right to the byline, his cut back found Armour who beat the Rannoch keeper from the edge of the box. Half time 1-1.
In the second half GSC failed to make their superiority count with Riches, Stevenson and Caldwell unfortunate not to score. With the game drawing to a close it was evident that it was more important to both teams not to lose. Final score 1-1. GSC's promotion hopes are still alive.
