Rolls Royce EK 0

GSC Amateurs took on Rolls Royce EK on Wedneswday night at Huntly.GSC started strongly and created some good goal scoring chances early on with Caldwell, Riches and Andy Fraser all coming close. However as the half wore on Rolls Royce came more an more into the game and it was thanks to goalkeeper Sommerville and the defense in front of him that it remained goalless up to half time. Both teams new how much the 3 points meant and upped the tempo in the second half. Chances were few and far between and when the referee adjudged Andy Fraser to have handled in the box with 15 minutes left, it looked ominous for GSC. The Rolls Royce skipper blasted the ball over the bar and that spurred GSC into action. With 8 minutes left after a series of corners a Rolls Royce defender handled in the bo.x Top scorer Collinge stepped up and coolly slotted the ball past ex-GSC Stevie Taylor in the Rolls Royce goal.
Final score 1-0.Well done lads another great 3 points. I have to congratulate the defense for 2 clean sheets against arguably the 2 best teams in the division.
