Orchard Park Mount 'B' 1
GSC Amateurs 2

Andrew Collinge (1)
Tony O'Donnell (1)

GSC Ams. were 'away' to Orchard Park in the league at Muirend. GSC started brightly and took the game to O.P. and should have been ahead, but chances from T. O'Donnell, C. O'Donnell and Collinge were thwarted through a combination of good defending and bad finishing.
O.P. took the the lead from one of their first attacks, they won a corner and after a point blank save from Sommerville the O.P. forward headed home. How would G.S.C. react after losing last week?

Well G.S.C. continued to play the passing game and were unfortunate to still be behind at half time.
In the second half Stevenson replaced the injured Cohen in the midfield and shortly after Cadman replaced C. O'Donnell up front. Midway through the half the the two subs combined down the left, the ball reached McBride, whos cut back was fired home by Tony O'Donnell. G.S.C.'s tails were up and when captain Andy Donaldson's through ball reached T. O'Donnell, he was upended by the O.P. keeper. Andy Collinge sent the keeper the wrong way with the resultant spot kick.

A hard fought three points to put the Amateurs back on track.
