Giffnock FC united 1991's

Our team has won the Glasgow and District youth football league at under 19 for league season 2009-2010. This league was formerly the Scottish Amateur Youth League where we also won the league at under 16's and under 17's level for seasons 2006/07 and 2007/08, during which the team lost only two league games in the two seasons. This season we only lost one game in a very competitive and challenging league.

We now intend to move up to under 21's next season

Previously the team has won the Loch Lomond International Football Festival and during the development football years the team has won the National Football Development Tournament culminating in a Final at East End Park home to Dunfermline Football Club.

Most of the players have been with the club since they were at primary school when they played under the banner of Giffnock Soccer Centre.

We have now progressed to youth football and our youth football team name is Giffnock FC United, although we are still part Giffnock Soccer Centre.

The team has enjoyed recent success winning our League for the three out of the last four years.

We currently play in the Glasgow and District Youth Football League formed for season 2008/09 from the merging of the Scottish Amateur and SYCA Leagues
