Craig MacRitchie - God Bless Wee Man

CRAIG MACRITCHIE

Many thanks to all that have supported Craig's family and also John and I and all the team during this very difficult period for everyone.

As you will all know tragically Craig died on Friday 28th December following injuries sustained in a car accident on Christmas eve.

Craig was five years old when he first joined the Soccer Centre and we have had the great honour of coaching Craig for the last 11 years.

During this time we have seen Craig develope into an exceptionally gifted footballer and a genuinely lovely guy.

I know all associated with the club and our team will miss him greatly.

We all called him Wee Man, but nothing could be further from the truth.

He was a giant in our eyes, with the heart of a lion. When the going got tough Craig was always there never far away from the action.

He worked tirelessly for the team, every week and time and again we used Craig as an example for others to follow.

John and I have so many fond memories of Craig, they will stay with us for ever.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Craigs family at this time. Our memories of Craig and the joy he brought to all of us will be with us always.

The funeral service took place on Friday 4th January at the Tron Church Halls Bath Street.

It was so nice to see so many friends of Craig attend which simply demonstrates how much he was loved by so many people.

Many thanks to all at the club who attended which i know Craigs family very much appreciated.

We will never forget Craig
